A Gao Tek product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Nov 12, 2008

Gao Tek now offers a UHF Gen 2 passive RFID tag (GAO 116006) suitable for item level tagging on plastic and glass items, totes, containers and trays.

The tag is compatible with EPC Class 1 Gen 2 protocols and operates in the US (902-928MHz) frequency.

The Gen 2 RFID tag is widely used for re-usable containers and is a contactless tag with a capacity of 96 bit EPC ID.

It has an excellent resistance to water and dust, and can endure immersion in salt water, alcohol, oil, 10 per cent HCL and ammonia.

The passive RFID tag features a symbol RFX6000 read/write inlay and has available offset printing and silk screen with logo or numbering and bar code.

The small tag is useful for applications where it will be disposed of with the product packaging.
