A company's steel panels were not drying fast enough after leaving their press plant and arriving at their assembly line, but a faster vanishing lubricant has since solved the problem.

Gulf's new Vanishing Oil CN 60 has solved a difficult problem for a major International manufacturer of microwave ovens The company had been struggling for some time with their steel panels not drying fast enough after leaving their press plant and arriving at their assembly line

The drying time of the standard Vanishing Oil they had been using was not fast enough, causing operational and health and safety problems.

Faster drying products had been tested previously but their inherent lack of lubrication properties had resulted in increased tool wear and a significant rise in costs.

Gulf Vanishing Oil CN 60 solved the problem immediately, drying off at exactly the right rate, so that pressed panels arrived at assembly dry to the touch.

At the same time there was no increase in tooling costs because of the product's excellent lubricity characteristics.

CN 60 is one of a comprehensive range of Gulf Vanishing Oils which also includes fast drying water based products.
