Priced at GBP460, the product has two markets.

Secondly it is a potential lifesaver for larger studios with a tracking bottleneck - now it's on everyone's desktop, everyone has the tools to process shots when needed.

moujou is so simple and easy to use that Maya operators will not have to re-train to process the sequences themselves - it can be done without leaving the Maya environment or using tools they are unfamiliar with.
As moujou is built on the same core technology as boujou three - you get it right first time, with results that are accurate and easy to work with.
For boujou fans, moujou comes with the same boujou feature and camera tracker, has the ability to import image-based masks and includes the same camera path smoothing functionality.
Furthermore you can save out work as a standard boujou file, allowing you to load it up in boujou three or bullet for further enhancements if required.
Lianne Forbes, 3D Tracking Supervisor at FUEL, an Australian post production studio, part of the beta testing programme, said: "moujou is an excellent plug-in for Maya that provides a simple yet effective introduction to 3D tracking software".
"Its ease of use will suit the trainee and aspirant 3D artists while it's robust enough to provide solutions to a large range of the everyday tracking needs of the 3D professional." Nick Bolton, Chief Executive of OMG group, said: "moujou rocks".
"It gives animators exactly what they need directly inside the tool they know".
"As the third new product from 2d3 in the last year, it underlines OMG's continual investment in technological development".
"Thanks to moujou we are able to bring the benefits of our cutting edge software engineering to a whole new market, building upon our strategic aim to diversify into growth markets where our expertise in image understanding can find exciting new uses." moujou is currently available as a Maya plug-in for the Microsoft Windows platform.
It is available to purchase through the 2d3 network of global re-sellers or as a download directly from the 2d3 website.
