Positive financial year for Open Mind Technologies

In the 2006 financial year, Open Mind Technologies AG achieved a total sales revenue of Euro15,492m.

Open Mind Technologies closed the financial year with a very positive result: In the 2006 financial year, Open Mind achieved growth of around ten per cent.

This puts the manufacturer of CAD/CAM solutions yet again at the top of the list of the industry's fastest growing providers.

The Open Mind Group, which has branch offices in Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region, also recorded a two-digit increase in sales revenue in the 2005 financial year.

In the 2006 financial year, Open Mind Technologies AG achieved a total sales revenue of Euro15,492m.

This corresponds to a per capita turnover of more than Euro161,000 for each employee.

"The basis for Open Mind's lasting success is our innovative, world-leading 5-axis technology and probably the widest range of 2D, 3D and 5-axis modules being offered in a single CAM solution with a very simple user interface," explains Werner Schwenkert, CEO of Open Mind Technologies AG.

"I am delighted that our comprehensive product concept encompassing CAM and CAD solutions, plug-ins, interfaces and postprocessors, which enable end-to-end production from design through to machine manufacture, is also reflected in our continually growing customer base".

Open Mind is a pioneer and technology leader in providing trend-setting CAM solutions with the required postprocessors, which are developed in-house, to meet specific requirements.

These postprocessors significantly facilitate 5-axis machining and enable the efficient use of modern 5-axis milling machines and their CNC controllers.

The Open Mind consolidated income statement was calculated for the past financial year in accordance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), adjusted for intercompany sales, expenditure and income.
