Out-of-the-box support for automating many IT workflows with the ability for a customer to modify the pre-defined workflows to fit their specific environment

Opalis Software, the leading provider of Run Book Automation (RBA) software that orchestrates, integrates, and automates IT operational processes, has announced a strengthened partnership with Germany-based Value Added Software (VASoft), a leading software consulting firm specialising in the sale of cutting-edge technologies.

VASoft's distribution network extends from Western to Eastern Europe and down through the Baltic region and will help to expand Opalis' overall presence in Europe.

Opalis recently recognised VASoft with its coveted President's Club Award, an award given to the top 10 percent of Opalis' worldwide partners.

Through the partnership, VASoft recently secured a high profile deal with a leading insurer based in Germany who provides insurance needs to some of the world's largest banking institutions, among others.

The company will use Opalis' RBA software to automate several routine data centre tasks involving automation silos, such as NetIQ AppManager, HP Service Desk, VMWare Virtual Centre, FTP, Microsoft Active Directory, and more, and rely on VASoft's around the clock support.
