Orbital welders get more memory for procedures

An Orbimatic product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Jun 20, 2003

Two major improvements made to orbital welding power supplies include increased memory and an electronic pulsed feedback facility.

Orbimatic recently introduced two major improvements in the manufacture of their already advanced Orbimat orbital welding power supplies.

The first improvement is the increased capacity of the internal memory which now allows machines to store more than 2000 4 level welding procedures.

This additional capacity will be standard on all new systems supplied.

The second improvement is a 'Weld Head Control Module' which can be ordered as an optional extra and allows the Orbimat power supplies to be used with not just tacho-feed weld heads but also those that use an electronic pulsed feedback.

When these new features are combined with the already technology leading benefits of the Orbimat range, it means that Orbimatic can offer power supplies that are far advanced of any other machine, available form any other manufacturer and proves Orbimatic's commitment to continuous development in the Tube Welding market.

This means that our Orbimat power supplies can now be retro-fitted with nearly all new customers competitive weld heads very easily.
