Orbimatic, the manufacturer of technology leading Orbital Tube Welding Equipment, have produced modified collets which fit a standard Orbiweld fully enclosed weld head range to allow operators to weld a pulled tee with minimal weld neck.
These special collets mean that no modifications are needed to weld heads and with Orbimatic unique 'Quick Fit Collets' a standard weld head can be adapted to weld pulled tees within minutes.
The head then can be back for use on standard application within minutes.
This new concept is not just for the welding of pulled tees, the principle can also be adapted to suit a variety of fittings, valves and forgings.
The Orbiweld range of weld heads have an integral control panel on the weld head handle which means that the whole operation can be controlled without need to keep returning to the Orbimat power supply.
