Arc voltage control module made for orbital welds
Orbital welding power supply can now be supplied with an arc voltage control module, which allows the unit to be used with the a new tube to tubesheet weld head.
The Tiger welding station incorporates a tube/pipe clamp which is located on a 'Easi-Glide' X-Y slide.
The clamp also rotates to allow 45deg and 90deg elbows to be welded to tube lengths.
The Tiger's head stock uses an internal purging and clamping mechanisim which allows tube to be welded to fittings or even allows fittings to be welded to elbows.
As well as clamping the the tube and fitting the internal clamping system will also remove any slight ovality from the tube and produce a perfect joint fit-up.
The head stock can also be fitted with studs when producing tube with bolted flanges to give pefect alignment of bolt holes to make fitting easy on site.
The Tiger Welding Station makes it easy for a single operator to handle 6m lengths of tube or pipe during the welding operation.
