An OrbiLogic option available on the Orbimat 160C orbital welding power supplies allows the machine to be run from either 110V or 230V supplies with no changes required to the power supply.

The Orbimat product range has been further improved with an OrbiLogic option available on the Orbimat 160C orbital welding power supplies which allows the machine to be run from either 110V or 230V supplies with no changes required to the power supply When swapping voltages the only change needed is the input plug

When the machine is connected to the mains supply the Orbimat 160C will detect which voltage that is being used and make the necessary adjustments for that voltage.

The system not only makes the adjustments that the hardware requires, but also adjusts the system software to suit the voltage being used.

If an operator selects a program which is out of the range for the input voltage being use then a warning message will be displayed and it will not allow the procedure to be used.

With OrbiLogic in place it is place the machine will never be damaged by connecting the machine to the wrong voltage and there are not switches or jumpers to be changed when changing power supply.

The Orbimat 160C also has a visual indicator to allow the operator to identify the supply voltage of the power supply in use.
