The WIG 10/175 is a precision tungsten electrode grinder for grinding of tungsten electrodes for automatic welding applications The WIG 10/175 if fitted with a deep bonded diamond impregnated grinding wheel which gives an exceptional wheel life

Supplied with the unit are tungsten collets for 1.6mm, 2.4mm and 3.2mm diameter tungsten electrodes.

The collet is held in the head unit firmly and then rotated manually, the tungsten is then introduced to the grinding wheel via a precision slide mechanism which results in a concentric grind with a polished finish to the electrode.

The high quality of the polished finish means the tungsten electrodes benefit from excellent striking characteristics and an extended electrode life.

The WIG 10/175 is available as a bench mounted model only or with an base unit fitted with a dust extraction facility.
