Orbital TIG weld heads have been designed and developed for ease of use and are fitted with a control panel which has a dual operation option - with or without a wire feed unit.
The all new Orbiweld TP range of orbital TIG weld heads have been designed and developed for ease of use.
With this is mind the head has been fitted with a control panel which has a dual operation option.
Orbiweld TP weld heads can be use with or without a wire feed unit and the controls have been configured to take account of this.
When an Orbiweld TP weld head is used without a wire feed unit the control unit will be used to control rotor advance and homing of the rotor.
This means the weld head is used as a basic fusion weld head with the same operating method as Orbimatic's existing enclosed weld heads.
If the weld head is being used with a wire feed unit then the operator can choose whether to use the original configuration or use the second option.
The second option allows the operator to use the control panel to jog and retract the wire feed.
When considered in conjunction with the compact design, easy handling and easy operation the Orbiweld TP heads must be considered as one of the most advanced ranges available today.
