Arc voltage control module made for orbital welds
Orbital welding power supply can now be supplied with an arc voltage control module, which allows the unit to be used with the a new tube to tubesheet weld head.
The two latest models introduced are the TP600 and TP1000, which will cover pipe diameters up to 170mm and 275mm respectively.
Both heads can be used with or without wire feed units and both use an on-board wire feed system.
Both models were previewed at the recent Japan Welding Show in Osaka and are now both in production and available for supply.
The TP600 and TP1000 follow in the foot steps of the TP250 and TP400 which are compact in design and lightweight, making them easy to handle and use.
Orbimatic have developed a unique drive mechanism which is the secret behind the whole range and arc gap compensation mechanism which ensures a consistent profile around the circumference of the tube.
The combination of unique design methods and the use of modern manufacturing methods have also enable these heads to be introduced at a very competitive price levels.
All of the Orbiweld TP range can be used with any of the Orbimat range of Orbital Welding Power Supplies.
