Novel 'Weld Profile Prediction Imagery' presents what is claimed to be a new dimension to orbital welding operator interface with its easy to interpret graphical operator interface.

Orbimatic, the manufacturer of technology leading Orbital TIG Welding equipment, will have a range of new products on display at Schweissen and Schneiden 2005, to be held in Essen, Germany from 12-17 September 2005 Schweissen and Schneiden is considered as the 'Olympics' of the welding and cutting industry and only takes place every four years, this year Schweissen and Schneiden will occupy 12 halls

Orbimatic are planning a large display, which will be located in Hall 2 at booth 2-130, and will include the entire current Orbimatic range as well as some new developments and re-engineered products.

The recently introduced Orbimat 165C Basic will be shown as well as its revolutionary new counterpart the Orbimat 165C Advanced which will be unveiled at Schweissen and Schneiden 2005.

The Orbimat 165C Advanced introduces a new dimension to operator interface with its easy to interpret graphical operator interface with the unique 'Weld Profile Prediction Imagery'.

In addition a range of new concept slim line enclosed weld heads will be introduced which will complement the current Orbiweld range of enclosed weld heads, the new large diameter slim line heads utilise the same syncro-gearing system as used in the Orbiweld TP range which makes these heads very compact.

The next generation of Orbiweld TP open arc weld heads will also be displayed which will include electronic arc voltage control and electronic torch oscillation which allow multi-pass welding applications to be accommodated.

Schweissen und Schneiden (Welding and Cutting), Essen, Germany, September 12 - 17, Hall 2, Stand 2-130.
