Orbimatic UK, the manufacturer of Orbital TIG welding equipment, has implemented two new functions to its Orbimat 165CB orbital welding power supply.
Orbimatic UK, the manufacturer of Orbital TIG welding equipment, has implemented two new functions to its Orbimat 165CB orbital welding power supply.
The Orbimat 165CB possesses as PSS (Pro Service System) and True Logic Weld Parameter Development system.
It has also seen the introduction of two new developments that are designed to improve ease of operator interface.
The two systems HMS (Hardware Monitoring System) and AWCC (Automatic Weld Current Calibration) will be included as standard items with all future Orbimat 165CB power supplies.
HMS allows operators to investigate the current status of the machines hardware on a single screen.
The HMS display screen shows operators which functions of the machine are active, temperature of main components and during the welding cycle output and feedback values.
The AWCC system allows operators to calibrate the welding current without the need for an in-depth knowledge of the internal workings of the machine.
