This new centre of excellence includes a training room that can accommodate eight trainees.
There are currently six employees working as technical support staff, representatives, and trainers.
Until now, all support and training services in Canada were provided by the Montreal office.
With the opening of its training and service centre in Calgary, OSIsoft can now provide specialised services adapted to customers in Western Canada.
This investment by OSIsoft was made necessary by the growing demand for its products and technology among industrial and manufacturing clients, and the resulting significant increase in market share.
According to Martin Jette, General Manager of OSIsoft Canada: "OSIsoft has been present in every sector of Canadian industry for many years".
"Our products have become the standard in industries such as petroleum, which represents more than 70% of the market".
"In light of this, it seemed essential to be closer to the hub of the industry".
Another major objective of this initiative is to get closer and to tighten the relationship with our local business partners, such as control systems manufacturers and local engineering firms, PI system integrators.
Founded more than 25 years ago, OSIsoft is a privately held company that operates 16 offices around the world.
The technologies that have been developed by OSIsoft provide a platform that supports continuous improvement efforts of manufacturers and the process industry, with a view to ensuring their long-term competitiveness.
