Automatic system feeds and stacks spring washers

An OKU Automatik product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Apr 18, 2003

Feeding and magazine system will singulate spring washers, feed them in an oriented position, and then automatically drop them onto a magazine pole.

The system consists of a vibratory bowl feeder with a sorting feature that incorporates our extensive feeding technology.

The OKU Feeding and Magazine System will singulate spring washers, feed them in an oriented position, and then automatically drop them onto a magazine pole.

The entire system is mounted onto a base plate.

We know, through customer feedback, that in plants where these spring washers are used, these parts are usually handled manually.

With our system, the magazine pole must be in the correct position before the machine can be turned on.

Once the magazine is full, the machine will automatically turn off.

The OKU Feeding and Magazine System will achieve a feeding performance of 20 - 30 stacked spring washers per minute.

With relatively uncomplicated retooling, the OKU Feeding and Magazine System can be adapted to handle other spring washer variations.
