One of the great strengths of the Parvalux range is the huge choice of gearbox options, which for PM 7, 8 and 9 motors include single reduction worm gear, double reduction worm, in-line double reduction and multi-spur.
There is also a choice of gear materials with composite gears for quiet running or bronze for higher output torques.
The die-cast gearboxes feature ball bearings and, being lubricated for life, are maintenance free.
PM 7, 8 and 9 motors are powerful and versatile.
Totally enclosed to IP 54, they have a long operational life and are quiet in use.
Suitable for use with voltages from 12 to 200v DC, they can be fitted with a range of optional extras including double-ended motor/gearbox spindles and non-standard shafts in stainless steel with keyways and flats.
There is also the option of an electromechanical brake and tacho-generator, while for accurate speed and torque control, the Parvalux DC controller is the perfect match, providing a speed range of 25:1.
At just 56mm diameter and weighing in at less than 0.9Kg (PM 9), the motors vary in length from 88mm for the PM7 to 114mm for the PM9.
Speed range is 8000rpm maximum down to 1 rpm (with reduction gearbox) and available torque up to 45Nm.
PM7, 8 and 9 motors are UL and CSAc approved for international markets and offer the OEM and machinery designer exceptional performance for their compact size.
They have many applications throughout industry including packaging, labelling and sorting machinery.
