Bringing a new concept to remote alarm and status monitoring, PACSCOM has released two products offering a range of features and using the GSM network as its communications system PACSWATCH is a remote monitoring and alarm/control system

The device allows two way communication between a users mobile phone or monitoring station and the remote equipment or assets.

The device monitors up to four digital sensors and can output two control contacts.

Signals can be monitored individually or by use of a configuration utility, groups and patterns can be defined to allow intelligent alarming responses.

Two analogue inputs are also available for linking variable information into the system.

Messages are normally sent from the remote unit over the GSM SMS network so can be directed to a central control centre or directly to an engineer's mobile phone.

An alternative operating mode using data over voice channels is also available for appropriate applications.

Messages are easily configured and stored in each unit.

For users wanting the Control Centre function, a PC based monitoring package is available.

This has the dual function of configuring the outstations as well as running an INBOX style message/alarm centre facilitating all types of message handling and responses.

FAULTWATCH is a miniature battery powered monitoring unit designed for simple and easy installation and maintenance free operation for 10 years.

The unit is available in enclosures offering upto IP68 protection and is EMC approved for use in even the most harsh electrical environments.

The unit is capable of monitoring upto eight digital inputs in interrupt mode and transmits messages over the GSM SMS network.

The unit is dual band facilitating operation on the majority of worldwide GSM networks.

Messages are sent over the SMS network to FaultWatch Control which is a server based package for collecting and storing the system database.

A real time database based on MS ACCESS is used allowing easy access to the data from any PC or network system.
