Pathtrace has appointed David Boucher as marketing director after planning indicated the benefits of separate sales and marketing functions within the organisation.

Pathtrace is pleased to announce the appointment of David Boucher as marketing director.

The appointment is a result of business and marketing planning which highlighted the benefits of separate sales and marketing functions within the organisation.

Boucher is based at the UK headquarters of Pathtrace, where he will be responsible for worldwide marketing activities as Pathtrace continues to develop its global presence of EdgeCAM software through wholly owned subsidiaries and a growing reseller network.

Following a record year for sales and business growth in international sales, Simon Lee, previously responsible for both sales and marketing, is appointed International Sales director.

Commenting on the appointment, Brian Steatham, managing director at Pathtrace stated: "We are continually looking to strengthen our business and the appointment of David to the marketing group adds additional skills to this area".

"We believe that both the sales and marketing teams will be considerably strengthened by these changes within the management team." Boucher has had long career at Pathtrace in a number of senior technical positions, most recently product development director responsible for product direction and definition and overseeing the development of the advanced EdgeCAM solutions for mill/turn machining.

"I am delighted to be given this opportunity within the Marketing group and it is a pleasure to be working with such as strong team," says Boucher.

"This is a fast moving time for the company and I look forward to contributing directly to the company's marketing direction as we move forward.".
