CAD/CAM provider appoints managing
director

Pathtrace has appointed Raf Lobato as managing director - as former director of UK operations, he brings to his new role more than 15 years experience within the CAD/CAM industry.

Pathtrace are pleased to announce the appointment of Raf Lobato as managing director with immediate effect This appointment follows the recent acquisition of Pathtrace by Planit Holdings

Lobato brings to the role more than 15 years experience within the CAD/CAM industry at Pathtrace.

In that time Lobato has progressed through a variety of sales and technical management positions including as technical director and, most recently, director of UK operations.

Commenting on his appointment, Lobato said: "Our EdgeCAM product has a very strong reputation in its markets and is acknowledged as a leader in the development of manufacturing solutions for metal cutting, particularly for advanced production machining.
