Manufacturing the active components used in life-saving cancer radiotherapy machines and essential firefighting equipment, e2v's highly complex and advanced technology applications require an agile and scalable network that can flex and scale according to business need.

Graham Jaggard, Infrastructure Manager at e2v explains: "Our applications require enormous bandwidth, and are in a constant state of flux due to the on-demand nature of our business".

Together, Pasporte and OBS are providing e2v with a scalable, cost effective and robust networking solution, using MPLS software to prioritise the multitude of business critical applications and optimise all available bandwidth.

The solution also sees e2v benefit from 24/7/365 technical expertise, maintenance and support, and real-time visibility of network traffic, effectively gaining a round-the-clock virtual IT department.
