Adhesives provide freedom of choice
Air conditioning units benefit from the use of adhesive bonding to join a variety of metal and non-metallic materials.
The bridge was 50m long, 3m wide and spanned a busy new highway in the UK.
It was constructed from GRP sections and all the moulded parts were bonded exclusively with Bondmaster E32.
Bondmaster E32 was chosen due to its superior bond strength, curing speed and proven durability under stress and exterior exposure.
The adhesive was supplied in 400ml cartridges, which allowed for simultaneous mixing and dispensing from a pneumatic gun.
This enabled the contractors to undertake simple, rapid assembly of the bridge sections.
The reliability of E32, its ability to cure under on-site conditions and its ease of application made it the ideal adhesive for the job.
