Designed for backup redundancy, the Compliance Recording Package serves to manage dual backups, that is, backups of transport streams up to two USB HDDs simultaneously.
Scheduling of backups to the USB HDDs connected to the DVStor is achieved through the USB hub.
In instances where multiple USB HDDs are connected to the DVStor, the USB HDD Backup Scheduler will automatically run backups to one with sufficient disk space.
This user-friendly software also gives operators the option to overwrite outdated TS in a particular USB HDD selected for backup.
All the new DVStor units with software version V3.3 and above will be pre-installed with Fedora Core 4 (FC4) instead of Red Hat 9.0 (RH9).
FC4 is vital for this compliance recording package to function.
