Two types of graphic logic controllers - with or without Ethernet - have SIO as standard, connectable to peripherals such as a temperature controller and an inverter.
* To add to the currently available lineup of ST Compact Operator Interfaces, ST400 (RS422), ST401 (RS232C), ST402 (MPI), the ST403 is now available to make it possible to connect to the ST via Ethernet.
* The ST403 Supports Ethernet I/F (IEEE802.3 10BASE-T) communication.

Additionally, the ST403 Ethernet also has a two-colour backlight which is software settable.
This feature allows many possible applications, including for example, using the amber coloured screen for normal operation, and the red backlight for emergency situations.
In addition to an Ethernet port, this unit also has a serial interface port which is software settable to RS-232C or RS-422.
The ST Series can eliminate the need for lamps, switches, meters and text displays, in just one unit, giving you cost and space savings and a host of additional features.
Features include six function keys, a perfectly clear display for featuring graphics and graphs, compatibility with a broad range of PLCs and durable for tough environments.
