Thyristor controls complex loads
Universal thyristor can control 3-phase resistive, inductive, transformer and complex loads (such as silicone carbide and super Kanthal) while providing feedback and diagnostics.
This totally universal thyristor is the most advanced product designed by CD Automation to-date and exhibits the same high levels of quality, reliability and price competitiveness already seen in the other products within the recently released digital family The Multidrive can control 3-phase resistive, inductive, transformer and complex loads (such as silicone carbide and super Kanthal) while providing feedback and diagnostics to the user either via an integral control module or across a remote communications interface

SSRs and thyristors offer time and money savings
One of Europe's leading manufacturers of SSRs and thyristors, is now making its latest products, with 23 current rating steps, available to the UK.
Controller designed for multi-zone usage
The CD1000 from CD Automation has been specially designed for multi-zone applications such as plastic and glass manufacture.
The product has 13 current ranges from 25 to 500A, which provides flexibility when selecting the correct product for the application.
Universal input, firing and feedback together with full diagnostics and remote communications are all available as standard.
The unit also comes as standard with 9 inputs and 7 outputs, which ensure that the user has full control over the process and access to any of the 100+ parameters held within the units plug-in control module.
When dealing with complex loads it becomes even more important to have close control over the process and the Multidrive makes this possible with feedback on current and voltage for individual phases, true power control, load balance monitoring, missing or incorrect phase rotation diagnostics, the list of features goes on.
Suffice it to say that if it needs to be monitored, measured or communicated, it can be done with the Multidrive.
The Multidrive is the latest product to be released by CD Automation, one of Europe's leaders in the field of power control thyristors, and represents the completion of the latest development cycle at the Italian's design and manufacturing centre in Milan.
The complete digital family of solid state relays and thyristors from CD Automation are fully released with CE approval and 3 years warranty through Paragon Alliance.
