High speed video imaging system introduced
What is believed to be the World's first PC-based high speed video imaging system has full Mega pixel resolution at 1000 frames/s and a shutter, which can operate down to 2 microsec.
Digital camera claimed to be world's fastest
Claimed to be the world's fastest, a high speed digital video camera captures 3000 frames/s (fps) at 1,024 x 1,024 pixel resolution, up to 250,000 fps at reduced resolution.
The basic camera control and image replay software includes simple, automatic single-point tracking, or a manual tracking feature that captures one to four points per frame.
Optional modules available with the revolutionary software include a Data Acquisition module that can record up to 16 channels of external ASCII data from load cells, accelerometers, microphones, pressure transducers, etc Up to eight, time-synchronized Photron high speed PCI cameras can be simultaneously used to capture 200,000 data samples per second.
The Motion Tools Enhanced Analysis feature can track up to 18 trajectory points simultaneously and display and export the time and positional raw data to Microsoft Excel, for convenient tabular and graphical displays.

Miniature multi-head video has high speed
A miniature, high speed video system allows the use of one to four detachable camera heads - each measuring 35mm x 35mm x 35mm, weighs less than 100g and has excellent light sensitivity.
Photron's Motion Tools software also has an Automatic Download module which will trigger the system to save a predetermined number of frames both before and/or after an alarm is received.
It will download the frames and accompanying external signal data (required by the Data Acquisition module) to any internal or external drive.
Other features include both GPS and IRIG (preferred by the military) timing modules for analyzing and synchronizing millisecond time codes from high speed cameras that are recording from various locations.
Key high speed video frames and/or sequences may be easily labeled with Motion Tools' Image Annotation feature.
Photron Motion Tools provides both manual and automatic tracking capabilities, multi-format file save and load, simultaneous playback, zoom, scroll bar, reverse, continuous loop, 'block' playback, and synchronous play of multiple images.
Windows NT, 2000 and XP compatible, Motion Tools software package is included at no additional charge with Photron's high speed video cameras, the Fastcam PCI, Fastcam-X 1280 PCI and the Fastcam-X 512 PCI.
