Phoenix connectors come with compliance

A Phoenix Contact product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Aug 28, 2008

Phoenix Contact has announced that its Profinet plug connectors now come with a manufacturer's declaration in compliance with PNO (Profibus User Organisation) requirements.

This widens the choice of components available for ensuring reliable Profinet networks.

In protected environments, Phoenix Contact's Variosub RJ45-Quickon plug connector for copper-based cabling and its Variosub SCRJ for all fibre types enable easy assembly.

In harsh environments, Phoenix Contact's M12 plug with D-coding and its push-pull connector system for transferring optical and electrical signals are suitable.

These connectors use the same connection principles as installations carried out to protection category IP 20.

Phoenix Contact offers a series of power connectors and M12 and 17.8/20.3cm circular connectors for power supplies, which can be used with its push-pull data connectors.
