While most IOSH Managing Safely training courses are run over four days, the Pilz course benefits from an additional day that focuses on machinery and work equipment.
Furthermore, the first four days constitute an IOSH-accredited tailored course, presented by Ivan Green, a Chartered Health and Safety Practitioner, which offers considerably more than a standard IOSH Managing Safely course.

Commenting after successfully completing the course, he said: "This is one of the best training courses I have ever been on.
Ivan Green was a fantastic lecturer.
He made everything easy to understand, with a clear, jargon-free approach and interactive presentations that really helped me to remember the material." He continued: "The course content was exactly as advertised, but what I did not appreciate until later was how it would change my whole attitude towards safety, and the way I look at my workplace.
Thanks to this course, I feel better equipped to be able to identify errors and instigate appropriate corrective actions to prevent accidents happening." In conclusion, he said: "Receiving an IOSH certificate from the course is excellent, because IOSH is such a well-known brand in the field of safety.
I would highly recommend the Pilz course to anyone working in manufacturing who wants to learn about managing health and safety.
For people like me, the extra module for machinery safety is an invaluable addition to the standard IOSH Managing Safely course." To request more information about the five-day IOSH 'Managing Safely combined with Machinery and Work Equipment Safety' course, please contact Pilz.
