Labelling systems range from entry level upwards
Labelling solutions range from entry level, low volume semi-automatic machines to fully automatic high speed high volume systems designed for use throughout the packaging sector.
Motion labelling head doubles output
A new labelling head looks set to revolutionise print and apply labelling techniques by allowing packaging companies to double the throughput of their labelling systems.
The conveyor-based 70FBL can be used to provide high speed, precise front and back labelling on a range of cosmetics, healthcare and household products, including shampoos, bath and shower gels, detergents and cleaning chemicals, packed in standard and special shape containers said PALS.
The labelling system is fully integrated, incorporating all the necessary elements for effective front and back labelling, including dedicated product separation, orientation, stabilising, application and after-wipe mechanisms.
They are mounted on to a rigid mono-frame that is supported on a stainless steel cabinet containing all electrical and pneumatic components.
The new touch screen is claimed to provide a clear, central control facility, enabling all machine functions easily to be set, monitored and adjusted.
The control technology has been developed to enable each system to be understood and managed by relatively unskilled operators, thereby eliminating the danger of errors while boosting productivity.
The 70FBL labelling system is said to be flexible and can be combined with a wide range of PALS' servo-driven single, twin and multiple labelling heads.
In addition, PALS can integrate the new system with coding and overprint units, enabling variable data to be added to individual labels during the process operation.
The new system can also be configured for wrap-around labelling on round containers, as well as a three-roller wrapping for larger containers with spotting.
