Heronair matting drives car production

A Plastic Extruders product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Aug 19, 2008

Car manufacturing giants Nissan and Toyota have recently improved the safety and wellbeing of employees by installing large areas of Heronair matting.

The hard-wearing floor covering, is particularly popular in manufacturing and other working environments because of its high-slip resistance and anti-fatigue performance.

Heronair is a cost-effective matting that is extremely hard wearing, flexible and slip resistant.

It is constructed with PVC hollow ribs to provide excellent cushioning which enhances comfort underfoot, reduces standing fatigue and will insulate from cold floors.

Unlike conventional solid surface anti fatigue products, the matting is self-draining and will dissipate spillages and debris through its open grid.

The matting is loose-laid, easily cut to any shape and will readily contour over rough or uneven surfaces.

It can be supplied in rolls up to 1.22m wide x 14m or is available from stock in 10m rolls and widths of 50, 75 and 100cm.

Samples and project case study information are available from Plastic Extruders.
