The latest release of Jobshop's high capability manufacturing and production control software will be demonstrated on Stand 2 at the international meet the buyer exhibition and conference Aerolink Wales, which takes place at the Cardiff International Arena on Thursday 15 March Jobshop is the preferred solution for customers in the aerospace industry where full and detailed traceability of all manufactured and purchased elements is absolutely essential

Suppliers to key players such as Rolls Royce, BAE Systems and Airbus, have implemented Jobshop to streamline operations with a system that provides accuracy, security and the peace of mind that results from the highest level of support.

Delivering improved control and more streamlined operation along with enhanced tool and work tracking, Jobshop 9.3 incorporates new CRM functionality for accurately recording and analysing information on customers, suppliers and orders.

Other new capabilities include a stock locking function that supports perpetual inventory checking, as well as improved stock holding and control.

Jobshop 9.3 also includes a novel tooling log feature which not only provides enhanced tool tracking and utilisation but also simplifies the maintenance of calibration data for all tooling in use.

The latest Jobshop release offers improved editing of OLE documents, with output sent as pdf files rather than Word documents directly from the user's email account.

A new smart paste function enables associated data from up to 12 specified fields to be located using a simple right mouse click.

When the data is smart pasted into another screen, the corresponding value for the selected field is automatically entered eliminating errors and speeding Jobshop's operation.
