The Murfreesboro, TN facility of Paulo Products Company has been presented with the prestigious Ford Preferred Supplier Certification.
The award recognizes Paulo for excellence in heat treating as well as adherence to the highest quality and customer service standards.
This award places Paulo among an elite list of fewer than ten heat treaters throughout the country that have been honored with the Preferred Supplier designation by the Ford Motor Company.
Paulo-Murfreesboro is a QS-9000 and Ford HTX certified provider of heat treating and plating services.
The Preferred Supplier Certification is granted only after Ford first receives a recommendation from a Tier 1 supplier.
After review of the recommendation, Ford then conducts an extensive audit of the entire heat treat operation.
A proven record of outstanding customer service is also required.
With HTX approval and Preferred Supplier status, Ford suppliers are able to submit their heat treating work to Paulo without needing to first audit Paulo's heat treating operation.
This makes Paulo a prime heat treating source for Ford components.
