High Temperature Linear Sensor
The MLS095 a new twin-track, linear position sensor from Penny + Giles is suitable for valve position feedback sensing in power steam plants, where the temperatures are typically high.
Penny + Giles has developed a new twin-track, linear position sensor capable of withstanding temperatures up to 175sC MLS095 has been designed and manufactured for applications where high vibration, shock and high temperature environments are present

MLS095 is the first sensor (with a 9.5mm body diameter) able to withstand such high temperatures and is set to lead the way in this market.
Offered in stroke lengths of 30mm, 50mm and 60mm, the new ultra-compact sensor has a 9.5mm body diameter and has an operating temperature of 40 to +175sC.
This makes it suitable for valve position feedback sensing in power steam plants, where the temperatures are typically high.
MLS095 uses established technology which is stable in extreme environments, providing virtually infinite resolution and reduces the need for regular maintenance and re-calibration.
It is available with a choice of mounting options - plain body, or with metal rod end bearings attached, and either single or twin-track outputs can be specified.
Twin track output offers signal redundancy, for even better reliability.
First developed for use in the highly demanding Formula One suspension position applications, the sensor is proving very attractive to certain industrial applications, explains Mike Iles, Business Development Manager, Penny + Giles.
MLS095 provides optimum product performance and practically infinite resolution under the most extreme conditions for any processing application. Request a free brochure from Penny + Giles ...
