When the forklift drivers at Palletways UK bravely agreed to strip off for a calendar in aid of cancer research, they searched their warehouse for objects that could be strategically placed to spare their blushes For Mr February, Mr June and Mr August, Palletcap provided an ideal solution

Normally used to protect vulnerable freight, the bright yellow warning cone turned out to be just as effective in preserving the drivers' modesty.

The 'Hub Hunks' calendar has been produced as part of a campaign by Palletways, in association with the charity Everyman, to 'drive out male cancer'.

This year Palletways has pledged to raise GBP100,000 for the charity, with the support of its 100-plus UK membership.

Hayley Shirley, managing director of Palletcap, said: "We are delighted to see Palletcap being used for such a good cause.

We wish Palletways and Everyman every success with their campaign - and we've got to admire the drivers for their commitment." The normal location of a Palletcap is on top of a pallet load.

There, it instantly warns lift truck operators not to stack any higher - preventing stock damage throughout the supply chain.
