Low cost replacement chuck is designed and developed to provide a cheaper alternative to imported power chucks and is proving its worth through booming sales.

Sales are soaring for the Pratt Burnerd low cost replacement chuck, which was launched last Spring Designed and developed to provide a cheaper alternative to imported power chucks, it is an equivalent to commonly-used Japanese chucks and is available in sizes ranging from 165mm-630mm

Director/general manager of Pratt Burnerd International Peter Simms said: "Even we have been surprised by the popularity of the new low-cost replacement chuck.

We launched it because we had been asked for it by some of our customers but we expected demand to be relatively low.

Sales have increased rapidly since its launch, I believe because companies need to minimise part-cost in every way they can and feel reassured buying from a reputable and well established British manufacturer.

Naturally, although the low cost replacement chuck is priced to meet a specific market demand, it complies with all our normal high standards of quality, accuracy, reliability and longevity.

As with all our chucks, it is available from us ex-stock delivery."
