Tube benders need little programming experience
Minimal programming experience is needed to operate the new PC-based 'IMS' control system fitted to the latest Italian-built hydraulic tube bending machines from Pedrazzoli.
The press features Finn-Power's 20-station turret, flexible tool holder system, programmable clamp setting, and a range of options including tapping units.
Nibbling speed is up to 1,100 hits/min.
There is the option of either Siemens or Fanuc CNC, including an Ethernet connection, modem and fast NC program download as a standard.
Ease of operation is enhanced by Windows-based software options.
As a result of using a servo controlled ram, stroke speed and position are fully and individually adjustable in both directions.
Other benefits are the availability of different punching modes such as punch, slow punch, soft punch, down-forming and marking.
The C5 up-forming option offers a combination of conventional up-forming, a new, indexable up-forming station, and the possibility of using existing tooling.
Material flow can be handled from one side of the machine for simplicity of operation.
Both full-size and pre-cut sheets are loaded with a simple pushing action, close to the table edge.
Unloading is semi-automatic, the machine placing the components at a freely programmable position on the table.
A work chute allows parts up to 500mm x 500mm to be stacked automatically below the table, from where they may be removed easily. Request a free brochure from Press and Shear Machinery ...
