As well as deploying new software that has increased bending speed by up to 20%, a press brake also features a 'soft bending' movement to increase accuracy and repeatability.

Sheet metal punching FMS has two cells
Britain's leading ride-on garden machinery manufacturer, Countax, has installed a GBP1 million sheet metalworking cell in a purpose-built extension to its Oxfordshire factory.
With servo-electric functions, the EBE joins Finn-Power's range of turret punch presses and press brakes with excellent economy in energy consumption - down by 50% from all hydraulic models.
Other factors of total manufacturing economy are low oil maintenance cost and the possibility to use minimum cycle times after only 60 sec from starting the machine, as low oil temperature does not slow down operation.
Finn-Power has extended its range of servo-electric press brakes into heavier models, including the new 2550mm, 800kN (80 tonf) model.
