Firstly, for Removing Blockages from Bulk Solids Material Silos - fast: the Gyro Whip offers a safe and fast solution to maintaining clean and continuous operating conditions in silos, bins and hoppers in the bulk solids handling and processing systems.

With this system there is no need for operators to enter the potentially dangerous confines of bulk storage systems thus eliminating accidents.

The Gyro Whip is designed for use remotely through a manhole opening at the top.

Powered by compressed air, the Gyro Whip motor can be manoeuvred by one operator who manipulates the cleaning head by simple controls.

A variety of whips and cutting edges can be fitted to the revolving cleaning head to remove even the toughest materials without damage to the silo, bin or hopper walls.

The equipment is mobile and can be easily positioned at a cleaning location.

The light alloy boom is lowered into position, the standard unit has a reach of 6.4 metres from the entrance with a rotation of 360deg, the 'Mini' system can reach 2.4 metres and rotate through 180deg.

The motor drive is attached to a flexible hose that can extend down to 45 metres.

This, it is said, makes the Gyro Whip system suitable for the majority of bulk storage and handling applications.

Custom designed systems are also available.

Secondly, for preventing material deposits building up on: ships holds; silos; hoppers; filters; ductwork; fans; boilers and dryers, Primasonics offer their range of Acoustic Cleaners.

These are operated by compressed air, the Primasonics? range of acoustic cleaners are high energy, low frequency sound waves that create pressure fluctuations within the particulate deposits.

Once dislodged, either gravity or air stream removes the material.

There are no moving parts, and neither mechanical nor structural damage is caused.
