Inspiring tomorrow's UK engineers
Hundreds of UK Members of Parliament, business leaders, students, engineers and academics will converge at the IMechE for the event, 'Inspiring Tomorrow's Engineers'.
It will concentrate thoughts on the benefits of implementing some of the basic skills that every professional needs to bring out the best in themselves and those working in their environment.
The conference will be held at the Keele University, Staffordshire, April 5-8, 2006.
It is the 23rd conference in this series, its success based largely on continual improvement year on year to help young engineers stimulate their desire to succeed, motivate themselves and learn innovative leadership concepts.
The structure is designed to provide you with an opportunity to network and share best practice; whilst the content promotes fresh thinking and the opportunity to try new approaches to problem solving and team working.
The Institution hopes that young engineers will take this opportunity to try something different with the help of excellent speakers, a tailored business management exercise and a choice of interactive workshops - the challenge of change may be the most difficult, but this is often the most gratifying.
The Institution's experience shows that engineers will find your time at the conference rewarding, and that they will endeavor to put their new skills into practice.
