Prism will help create the latest high-brightness LEDs by supplying printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies to a Cambridge-based supplier of manufacturing equipment to the semiconductor industry.
The sub-assemblies being provided by Prism are components of metal organic chemical vapour deposition (MOCVD) reactors used in the volume manufacture of high-brightness LEDs.
LEDs can reduce greenhouse-gas emissions when used in place of conventional lighting.
