Saito uses PTC system to improve efficiency

Saito DieandMold Factory has selected the PTC Product Development System, which includes Pro/Engineer and Windchill, to improve productivity.

Pro/Engineer has enabled Saito to speed-up its manufacturing cycle by more than 60 per cent.

Engineers can now exchange native Pro/Engineer data with their customers, reducing the time for design changes from several days to a few hours.

The precision of the cast parts eliminates the need for modification when the parts are assembled.

Pro/Engineer has also increased the amount of product data that the Saito design team generates.

The Windchill data management system has helped Saito's design team better understand design concepts, enabling them to start procurement processes earlier and speed-up the design cycle.

Windchill has also helped Saito improve data sharing.

Saito uses Windchill to transfer the knowledge of its engineers and designers to the next generation.
