Presstek appoints Swiss distributor
AM Digital AG to market Presstek's DI Press and Chemistry-free CtP Solutions
Presstek, a leading manufacturer and marketer of environmentally responsible high-tech digital imaging solutions for the graphic arts market, announces that AM Digital AG, based in Cham has been appointed as a distributor for Switzerland, effective June 1, 2006 Following the agreement AM Digital AG, a leading system integrator for digital printing and platesetting systems in Switzerland, is able to expand its product range into the direct imaging (DI) and thermal CtP segments

Nearly 90 percent of all CtP systems installed in Switzerland are based on thermal technology - another reason why AM Digital values Presstek products.
The Presstek range of products is a perfect fit for AM Digital's product portfolio.
Until now, the sale of toner-based digital printing systems was AM Digital's primary business focus.
With Presstek DI presses, AM Digital is able to expand their market coverage further.

"With digital offset, such as the Presstek 34DI and Presstek 52DI presses, printers can offer their customers even more options in view of run length and quality".
