Creamy sheese filling technology
The launch of a new non-dairy cheese-type product has been supported by fast, advanced gas flush pot filling equipment from Packaging Automation .
Packaging Automation has supplied a Fastfill60 pot filling, heat sealing and overcapping machine to Bute Island Foods to fill pots of Creamy Sheese - a delicious 100 per cent dairy free alternative to cheese, which is supplied through wholesalers and distributors in the UK Bute Island Foods, which makes a range of animal-free food products, needed equipment that would ensure a smooth product flow whilst providing modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) to prolong shelf life for its new product

Packaging Automation has announced the launch of a new packaging machine targeted at laboratories involved with packaging samples for clinical trials.

Packaging Automation equipment has been selected to help launch an innovative, ground breaking new product by an Australian company.
The machine applies a foil lid and plastic overcap at a rate of 35 packs per minute with gas flushing.
Mr Crichton added that the FastFill60's flexibility was an added attraction as it can accommodate different pot sizes, which will allow for further product development in the future.
The FastFill60's integral control system that stores programs of different product recipes for easy access, is designed for easy cleaning and incorporates a multi-positional touch sensitive control screen.
All operating parameters including fill weights, seal time and film feed can be adjusted on screen.
Self-diagnostics for error reporting are incorporated.
The versatility of the machine and its light and simple change parts, mean that pot size changes can be quickly accomplished.
The machine can be supplied to seal reel-fed film or pre-cut lids and offers a number of options, including a date coder and a closed loop weight control system to automatically adjust fill volumes.
Mr Crichton added that Packaging Automation proved to be a responsive supplier.
He commented: "PA was efficient to deal with".
"The quality standard of the design seems very high and the machine is solid, whilst each part seems to be well constructed".
"As an all-in-one unit, the amount we can produce for very little labour with the FastFill60 is excellent and we would recommend PA to other companies.".
