WiFi module wins technology award

Vista ready device connectivity
Quatech announces "Vista-ready" products with device connectivity now Microsoft Vista compatible.
The ingenious device enables hands-free loading and encoding of RF tags with the help of Quatech's Airborne 802.11 modules that network-enable the device to talk to the RFID label printer and inventory mainframe computer that houses all the data.
"Adasa is licensing its technology to companies that recognise the value and importance of separating the label printing processes from the RFID tag encoding processes," said Clarke McAllister, President of Adasa of Eugene, Oregon.
"Hitching a bar code to an RFID tag is like hitching a horse to a car.
