Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Jul 24, 2006

Complex harnesses are using any combination of coaxial, multicore, multiwire, ribbon and power cables and connectors and over-moulding of connectors and cable glands can also be provided.

Quadrant, the Hertfordshire, UK-based manufacturer of cable assemblies and electronic component distributor, is primarily known as a manufacturer of coaxial and multicore cable assemblies but the company has recently extended its capability in the field of specialised and complex wiring harnesses.

Complex harnesses are now being produced using any combination of coaxial, multicore, multiwire, ribbon and power cables and connectors.

Over-moulding of connectors and cable glands can also be provided.

Utilising its long experience, engineering knowledge, manufacturing skills and experience in design and purchasing, Quadrant is well placed to optimise designs, reduce costs and improve the layout of harnesses.

Quadrant has manufacturing facilities in the UK, Germany and Czech Republic and is in the process of setting up a manufacturing plant in Romania.
