Miniature binder connector is low-cost
A low-cost, miniature, circular connector with snap-in locking can be easily assembled and is designed for all types of measuring, sensor, control and automation equipment.
Complex electrical harnesses produced
Complex harnesses are using any combination of coaxial, multicore, multiwire, ribbon and power cables and connectors and over-moulding of connectors and cable glands can also be provided.
The Telegartner SimFix Pro has proved extremely popular in the mobile communications market for in-field termination of copper corrugated feeder and jumper cables for high performance transmitter applications.
The new design of SimFix Pro connectors, designed for 1/2inch and 7/8inch feeder cables, results in a shorter, slimmer connector while maintaining, and in many cases improving on, system performance.
This redesign takes into account the latest changes in dimensions in cable types RFA, LCF A-types, AVA and others.
SimFix ST (Short Type) has a shorter body and can be used as a replacement for all 7-16 SimFix Pro connectors for indoor applications.
The ST versions do not incorporate a rear 'O' ring on the cable sheath and this provides a shorter and more cost-effective design.
Both types use the same tooling as the original SimFix connectors.
SimFix Pro is protected to IP68 and SimFix ST to IP67.
Both have an impedance of 50ohm and return loss is typically greater than 40dB up to frequencies of 3GHz while passive intermodulation is greater than 160 dBc.
The inner conductor is silver plated and other conductive parts are plated with silver or silver with a telealloy flash.
Other parts are silver nickel or telealloy plated and the connectors are rated at greater than 500 mating cycles.
