Quin Systems has se tup a strategic partnership with Endoline Machinery to provide a complete case packing systems claimed to outperform any other currently available.

Quin Systems has formed a strategic partnership with Endoline Machinery to provide a complete case packing solution outperforming any other currently available, in Terms of both speed and versatility.

Taking centre stage is the high-speed automatic Casepacker based on Quin's innovative Rtheta technology, working in conjunction with a case erector supplied by Endoline.

Commenting on Quin's new partnership with Endoline, Quin managing director Mike Webb, said, "This is an excellent arrangement, as our two companies share the same goal of developing novel solutions that address real customer requirements, and of producing modular equipment which scales well for any size of application.

Further, our product offerings are completely complementary, with Endoline concentrating on mechanical equipment, while Quin majors on systems which get the most from modern servomotor technology".

Quin believes that the partnership will yield important benefits for customers, who can now obtain, from a single source, complete case packing systems based on the latest technologies.

This single-source availability simplifies specification and ordering, as well as resulting in completely integrated solutions which eliminate all concerns about equipment compatibility and interoperability.

Tony Hacker, Managing Director of Endoline, said, "We were attracted to Quin as a business partner for one simple reason "we believe that the company produces the best casepacker in the world.

Not only is it faster than any comparable machine currently available, it's also easily adaptable to suit almost any application, and it has a remarkably small footprint.

In short, it is an ideal machine to work with our market-leading case erectors".

The Quin Casepacker on show at PPMA is an ideal choice for both single-layer and the much more demanding multi-layer applications.

By using Quin's unique Rtheta technology, it enables exceptional levels of performance to be achieved while avoiding the cost, complexity and excessive space requirements of robot-based solutions.

The smooth motion of the Quin machine means that high operating speeds can be used without risk of damaging or dropping fragile products.

It can also be configured to provide the range of movements needed to match virtually any application.

An integral teach mode, used in conjunction with an intuitive graphical interface, allows fast, straightforward programming, and it has facilities to store information relating to many different products.

The Endoline case erector features dual opposed vacuum case opening which, unlike the unilateral system used by other products, ensures consistently accurate erection, even when the machine is used with cases of variable quality.

After erection, the cases are perfectly square and ready for packing.

Like the Quin machine, the Endoline erector has a small footprint.

It also offers easy access for quick set up and cleaning, and it supports rapid size changes, making it well suited to applications involving short production runs.

As well as case packing and erecting products, Quin is also showing the Linmot range of linear motors at PPMA.

These combine acceleration up to 200m/s2 and operating speeds up to 4m/s with precise backlash-free operation and virtually unlimited life, making them an ideal choice for use in pick-and-place machines, packaging equipment and similarly demanding applications.

Throughout the exhibition, Quin and Endoline personnel are on stand to demonstrate the equipment, and to give advice on the significant benefits, including costs savings and productivity gains, that products from the two companies can provide in the visitors' own applications.
