Rainer UK has secured an order recently for its largest, most advanced UK installation.

Rainer UK has secured an order recently for its largest, most advanced UK installation.

This machine passed final commissioning 2 weeks ago and is in full unmanned operation with Ebbs and Dale of Kings Lynn, an existing Rainer customer for over 3 years, which looked at every machine on the market before placing the order for this high speed fully automated machine.

Ebbs and Dale said that the Rainer technology is without doubt currently the most advanced in the marketplace and it needed a reliable machine to take the company forward.

The machine benefits from: 1300 Hits per min at 1mm pitch, 2542 x 1564mm before reposition, 6 E Station Auto Index (114mm), Indexable Multitools, Upforming Ram allowing bending of upto 24mm, 2 Tapping Stations, Automation including parts selection for 12 components, and the largest work chute currently available of 1100 x 1000mm.

The new range of machinery still offers unique patented features such as the Orbital Turret, a eccentric design allowing operators to view the dies without the need for removing the die to inspect.

Tool change over time is important to most customers and such a design allows this operation within seconds.

Two new machines will be launched by the end of 2003.

The PRO15-30 offers 3000 x 1500mm before reposition using linear drives; this machine is not only very reliable but has fast axis speeds of 200m/min and 1300 hits per 1mm pitch.
