A disused washing and degreasing machine is a common sight in industry, but they can be refurbished and re-engineered to meet new applications and current legislation.

A disused washing and degreasing machine is a common sight in industry In many cases they have either fallen into disrepair, no longer meet current cleanliness specifications or do not meet current throughput requirements

For companies wishing to comply with current standards, but the commercial outlay for a new machine is not practical - help is at hand! Ransohoff can offer a refurbishment service that can help to get otherwise 'redundant' aqueous-based machines back into operation at a fraction of the cost of a new replacment.

This may involve modifying a previously dedicated machine to handle a new range of components or it may entail either the addition or upgrading of filtration units.

This includes bag or cartridge type filters for solid contaminants, and belt, disc or coalescing separators for tramp oil and floating debris.

Spray or immersion-wash cleaning machines can be upgraded to CE standard with rinse, de-min or drying sections being added if required.

If steam is no longer available as a heating method, then this can be replaced with a modern, efficient alternative such as packaged gas burners.

Machines can also be steam cleaned and fully repainted to achieve an 'as new' condition.

Ransohoff can refurbish any make, type or age of aqueous washing and degreasing machine, not just equipment of their own manufacture (formerly Tempest and Dibb).

Typical work involves completely cleaning out blocked pipes together with replacing jets, gas burners and motors with full reconditioning of any other parts that need attention.

Fully functioning washing and degreasing machines can be back in production quickly and cost effectively, no longer simply just taking up useful floor space.
