Low cost inline LVDT transducer amplifier
RDP Electronics has launched a new compact version of its popular S7AC LVDT in- line amplifier, containing all the required circuitry to excite, condition and amplify the transducer.
RDP Electronics has launched a new compact version of its popular S7AC LVDT in-line amplifier, containing all the required circuitry to excite, condition and amplify the transducer.
Thanks to the use of the latest surface mount production techniques, this has resulted in an extremely compact IP65 module, which can also be supplied with a DIN rail mounting option.
Designed for use with RDP's extensive range of LVDT and Half Bridge displacement sensors, the S7AC is also compatible with the majority of other brands on the market.
It is simplicity itself to set up and calibrate, having a gain of 500 in 8 steps, with 'fine' control and a bandwidth of 500Hz.
Also incorporated is an 'Over-Range' indicator which warns if the demodulator input exceeds the linear range.
The output can be configured for Bipolar or Unipolar operation having a maximum of +/-10V or 4-20mA, using a choice of DC power supply voltages.
